Get a straight answer

North Alabama grows big trees: white oaks, water oaks, tulip poplars, sweetgums and loblolly pines that tower over houses built in the '60s and '70s. When they're healthy they're the best thing on the lot. When they're dying, split or leaning, they're the biggest risk to your roof.

Spring here brings severe storms and tornado watches, and red clay that turns to grease when it's soaked. Saturated clay plus wind is how big trees go over root and all. We take down the trees that need to go, trim the ones worth keeping, and clean up when storms come through.

How it works

  1. Call or send the form.

Tell us what's going on and what part of Huntsville you're in. If it's urgent — a tree on your roof, a split limb over the driveway, or storm damage — say so and we'll prioritize it.

  2. We come take a look.

Someone walks the yard with you in person, checks the drop zones, gate width, power lines, and trunk health, and answers your questions on the spot.

  3. You get a clear price before any work starts.

Written scope spelling out removal, cleanup, haul-off, and stump grinding in plain numbers. No pressure — you decide if and when to move forward.

Why homeowners call us

  • We actually answer the phone — or call back the same day.
  • We look at the tree and yard access in person before quoting a real number.
  • We tell you when structural pruning or weight reduction is enough instead of pushing a full removal.
  • We lay down ground protection mats to protect your lawn, driveway, and sprinkler heads while we work.
  • We rake up and haul off every branch and log before we call the job done.

Why North Alabama Trees Come Down

Clay soil and shallow roots. Huntsville's red clay holds water, so roots stay near the surface. After days of spring rain, a big oak or pine can lose its grip in a gust that wouldn't bother it in August.

Hillsides. On Monte Sano, Green Mountain and the ridges around Jones Valley, trees lean downhill toward houses and the work is steep. Rigging matters more than saws on those jobs.

Age. Many water oaks and pines in Five Points, Blossomwood and older South Huntsville neighborhoods were planted with the houses. Water oaks in particular get hollow and drop big limbs as they age.
